These things don't really have a name as far as I am aware.
Just get an analog headset, like Logitech G430 or whatever is best for your budget range.
That's for connecting a third party headset onto the Xbox controller, not for connecting the Xbox headset to PC
Or Headphones + Mic separately.
Yes please do not expect to be able to use headset jacks on a controller when using such controllers on a PC; that was merely meant for the Console itself.
For PC stick to using the 3.5mm 3-pole Stereo Jacks
But overall, I would suggest quality HeadPhones instead, this allows to also have a good set for on the go for things like quality music listening and such. Course that purely up to you, since some folks perfer "earbuds" over larger cans for on-the-go.
A somewhat inexpensive Lapel Mic are usually better quality than most Mics that come onboard most Headsets that have them built-in
