What are these headsets called and where can I find some?

I'm looking for a king of headset that looks like this

The sound of the game doesn't come out of it, only the sounds of the voices of other players, what are they called? I have the one in the picture but it doesn't work on PC, it only fits into Xbox controllers

Look online for "Chat headset" or "Call center headset".

These things don't really have a name as far as I am aware.

You don't need a special Headset for it. In the client of every major VoIP program like teamspeak, Ventrillo, Mumble... You can select the audio output device that overwrites the standard audio device just for the VoIP program. Anyways this is a kinda bad way as your mic will record the ambient sound including the game sound.

Its also a very poor option for PCs in general.
Just get an analog headset, like Logitech G430 or whatever is best for your budget range.

Those aren't a smart buy. You're better off with a good pair of regular headphones and a desk mic.

That's for connecting a third party headset onto the Xbox controller, not for connecting the Xbox headset to PC

Just avoid it, it's cheap quality. For that price you can buy a much better headset.
Or Headphones + Mic separately.
Yes please do not expect to be able to use headset jacks on a controller when using such controllers on a PC; that was merely meant for the Console itself.
For PC stick to using the 3.5mm 3-pole Stereo Jacks

So what's cheaper, buying a mic and headphones or buying a headset with a mic? Problem is all the headsets that cost 10-25$ are mostly trash

Well a G430 is "cheap" and NOT trash.

But overall, I would suggest quality HeadPhones instead, this allows to also have a good set for on the go for things like quality music listening and such. Course that purely up to you, since some folks perfer "earbuds" over larger cans for on-the-go.

A somewhat inexpensive Lapel Mic are usually better quality than most Mics that come onboard most Headsets that have them built-in
