PSU For GTX 1080

Hello everyone ..
right now my PC Specs are:

CPU: Intel - Core i5-7400 3.0GHz Quad-Core
CPU Cooler: Intel Stock Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock - B250M-HDV Micro ATX LGA1151
Video Card: Asus - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB STRIX
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2666
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Power Supply: Corsair - VS 450W ATX

And i'm gonna upgrade to GTX 1080
Do i need more power for the PSU ?
if yes .. what should i go for ?

it has enough juice, but 550 or 620/650 is a sweet spot these days.

Grab a psu from brands like seasonic, xfx, fsp, super flower, bequiet or so.
*just make sure to not grab the low end models from some brands.

The card only requires a 500 watt psu, it draws 180watts I think it is.

Lower wattage psu's will generally run hot since they're using almost every available watt especially when paired with a modern graphics card, a larger psu is a good idea since there is a crossover point where the draw becomes too much and the fan kicks in and running under the load limit the psu stays cool.

If you have a bit to spend get one with a 10 year warranty like the one I linked, 750 is fine for most setups with a single graphics card, 850-1000 watt will be overkill but will also run whisper quiet in most setups.

Your VS 450 should be enough but I wouldn't risk combining such a cheap low-end PSU with a beast GPU. Also your current PSU may not have enough PCI-e power cables.

If you want decent PSU then EVGA SuperNOVA G2 or G3, Seasonic Focus Plus Gold, Corsair TX or RMx. 550W would be enough for GTX 1080.
Avoid Corsair VS and CX, those are quite rubbish quality, if you cant afford decent gold certified PSU then look for Seasonic bronze certified 520W or 620W.
