Windows 10 Smart-Tab Gaming?

Hello, I want to start off with:

A. I am a broke and frugal person
B. I do not care to reach 100fps at ultra settings on games, would be nice, but I'm not greedy.
C. I am not up to par with current games, don't own the newest.
D. I do not care to play or buy newer games, I see it as a waste of money until they are cheaper.

My mom suggested to me she may give me her Windows 10 Smart-Tab and get herself an android tablet. Fine to me by all means, I'm starting college soon.

I typically play games like Fallout 3, STALKER SOC DoD: source CS: source Half-Life 2 stuff like Gmod, etc. The highest demanding games in my library are Metro 2033 and Operation Flashpoint: dragon rising.

I've seen a video on youtube of someone playing Borderlands on an Intel Atom Z3735f and that's the cpu chipset that comes with said smart-tab.

Will this Smart-Tab be enough for my gaming desires?

I'm currently playing games on HP Notebook 2000 series. It's not mine, so it would be nice if I had the smart-tab to call my own.

In the meantime, I'm going to see how to compare two cpus for gpu performace...

The difference in performace widely differs per tablet since some cost $200 and others cost $2000. These tablets use Intel Atom processors which are barely powerfull enough for browsing the web and they usually don't have a dedicated GPU either. No you are not going to play anything more demanding then very simple 2D games on those machines. If you have a more expensive model you might be able to play old 3D games.

What would be great to know is the model of the tablet, so we know which one you're talking about, also those videos you watch about boarderlands on tablets, they can range from 8 - 15 fps, depending on the tablets, but really don't expect much from them. Also you would have to deal with stuttering, and possible game freezing or game crashing on you, also the fact this will run your hardware at it's limits, so I highly recommend not covering it's exhaust ports at all, so keep it on a hard, flat surface.

I just discovered, these little Smart-Tabs such as the one with this Z3735f CPU, can play these games QUITE WELL!!

Anyways, if you're broke like me, a little smart-tab could be what you need to meet your boredom needs.

Playing games on Minimum Resolution and Low quality settings doesn't bother me, I still sometimes play GBA games and PSX games on my phone, so super ultra extreme realistic graphics n ♥♥♥♥ isn't my aim. Not a millenial baby, and proud of it.
