Snakebyte gamepad on a PC

I have a Snakebyte gamepad that I originally bought for my Android tablet. I never got it to work the way I wanted it to on the tablet. It has several key combinations that can be used when it's powered up to emulate a keyboard or mouse or gamepad. It is a Bluetooth device but it has a mini USB connection so I am wondering if it could possibly be used on a PC...? I have several games that are VR capable and one or two of them actually require a gamepad for UI control because they won't use a keypad or mouse in VR mode.

I doubt it. And given it wasn't working properly even on the device you bought it for, I'm not sure it's worth trying.

Trying to get unsupported devices like this working on PC can be an absolute misery. I've tried running a Steam Controller with Non-Steam games and that literally took all day to get working, for the net result of muddy unresponsive controls and buttons not working at all.

Look for an Xbox One or Xbox 360 controller. They're universally supported right out of the box, they're guaranteed to work and games automatically change their bindings for them. There's no reason to use anything else.

VR Games on PC wont work anyways without the VR Motion Controls; you can't use an "Xbox" Controller to emulate that. And many VR games will refuse to load without an actual VR Headset plugged in/installed.

Both the VR controller[mysnakebyte.com] and the gamepad[mysnakebyte.com] both say they are HID compatible and should work on PC. Both the manuals[mysnakebyte.com] say you can use bluetooth to pair with either android or PC but nothing about USB, possible that's for charging only.

With adapters as cheap as $6[www.amazon.com] I would say it's worth a shot to at least give it a try, as long as it paired up with the tablet you should be good to go on the PC.

Actually tried connecting it with Bluetooth on my Win 10 laptop and connected right up. Guess I'll need a Bluetooth adaptor for my desktop...
