Cheapest way to capture an AV signal with OBS?
Not an elgato or anything, just something that OBS will recognize as a video capture device. I want to digitize my old VHS/Hi8 tabes. I have a Vixs Puretv-U 48B0 (ntsc/atsc combo) card that I scavenged from one of my old HP machines from YEARS ago but it just doesn't seem to want to work properly with OBS. It almost does, but the signal is all ♥♥♥♥ed up and it's basically impossible to see what's going on... Just some suggestions would be nice. I don't need a "google it' answer... If I'm here I've obviously done that already.

A lot of those cheap tuner cards only work with their own software, but I've also seen issues across driver revisions, so it might be better to try another tuner.

Put it back in the old pc and use older software.
