Intel 1150 cooler stuck to motherboard
All pins unlocked
Plastic top of cooler has come away from metal blades.
Twisted cooler like jam jar left/right hard. Hard to hold onto the blades when twisting.
Heated cooler area with hairdryer no luck.
Tried floss no luck.

Any ideas please ? and I don't care about damaging removed CPU.

The plastic fan top I can remove leaving just blades underneath but still not budge
Those plastic things on each of the 4 corners, turn those in the direction of the arrow.
I have had the top half of the cooler removed leaving above photo
lol. it was really stuck.
Are the rivets in the photo showing the back of motherboard holding this in place ?
These coolers don't require any screws.

Someone mistook the super glue for thermal paste, or this is the worst thermal paste I have ever seen.
someone placed a real paste and not thermal paste there.,

the trick is to remove the cpu latch/lever without damaging the motherboard
Any ideas of how to prize away please without damage ?
a screwdriver for watch may work but practice first on dead motherboard

imitation watch screwdriver set in the philippines costs about 1-2 dollars
I have given up. I have tried with force using a small screwdriver to prize upwards but not judging a worried of causing damage. I can unclip the cpu latch. Thanks anyway.
just twist, you cant hurt the cpu or socket on 115x while its latched
This thread is ridiculous, a 5 year old could remove those stock Intel coolers.

except the heatsink appeared to be really glued to the cpu, based on this recent image: https://ibb.co/D7WK9Tc
