Headset not working , Corsair raptor hs40

My headset recently stopped working , as its not displaying anything in device manager or playback devices , but when i plug it into my computer the led lights up where you would change the volume but i cant mute my mic so the button is permanently blue , i have tried re installing drivers and stuff like that but still nothing has worked , im thinking its not worth it and just replacing with a better headset , but thought id try and see if there was an easy fix

Maybe your headset is just broken. I have an old headset that lights up when it's plugged in, but when I try to use it no input is received and I can't get any output volume either.

I was thinking that it may be broken , but i thought id try before spending money to buy a new one , to only find out it was an easy fix

Well, you can always try contacting the company or producer of the product and see if you have a warranty. Not many headsets have warranties though...
