graphic card issues

Hello, so I have this problem with my graphic card every time i try to play something my graphic card gives me a black screen is like this i enter the game the interface is working well when the loading screen of the game is done it gives me a black screen i can still hear the sound for 10 seconds then i have to reset my laptop. I have this problem for some time i tried to change my video driver but on this video card (nvidia geforce GT 335m) the only driver i can use is the 263.08 version why ? because is the last driver that supports hybrid graphics (i think the information is correct ) the other drivers don;t have the switch option like this have so when i try to use the last driver version i can't switch to my nvidia .I have an Alienware m11x r1 (i know is old) .If some one can help that will be greate.

Overheating and/or a finally dead GPU? That thing is pretty old.

Strange nVidia released a driver supporting the 300M series just two weeks ago, version 342.01

Maybe you should consider updating your drivers once in a while.

Like i said the new drivers don't have that switch option for hybrid graphic cards" Notebooks supporting Hybrid Power technology are not supported (NVIDIA Optimus technology is supported)." this si what it nvidia said .I did try that driver and when i try to play someting my lapotop use the intel graphic card . I tried to set the nvidia card from nvidia control panel but it still use the intel .About overheating how do i know if that is the problem ?

GT 335M is DirectX 10.1 card . If the game uses DirectX 11 , it wont start .

If the CPU is Intel , might use Real Temp to monitor the temp . Otherwise HWMonitor

To use GT 335M , keep the laptop plugged in
