There are ones that exist out there, but you are better off selling your existing RAM on Ebay and buying new RAM. Considering RAM is very easily sold and mailed it's pointless to make such a big compromise.

If you must have one, Newegg has this in stock for $40:

Is it really worth getting DDR4? will it effect my ingame FPS at all? or effect anything at all?

All the best LGA1151 motherboards use DDR4, so it's well worth buying one of those and switching to DDR4.

This,
there are skylake boards that support DDR3. But they are not worth buying. So the next time you upgrade you will have to buy another board AND ram. Paying more in the long run AND getting worse performance in the meantime. It's just not worth it. Safe up a bit more and go for a DDR4 board.

ok thanks!

I know from personal experience that motherboards really can make a performance difference. My GTX1080 benches(Passmark) 13,862 on my Z170(DDR4) board but only 11,612 on my Z77(DDR3) board.

Ok so right now I have a FX-6300 CPU (Thats why I'm upgrading) and a MSI R9 390 GPU so I'm getting a Bottle Neck when I play CSGO, So I'm upgrading From the FX-6300 CPU to an
i5 6600k CPU to get better FPS, I have a MSI 970A-G43 MainBoard so I need a New Mother Board to which was Originally going to be a MSI H110M Pro-VD Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard until i noticed that it was DDR4 Board, So I need to spend $100 more on RAM sticks, I also need to get a new Windows OEM because I am changing my Motherboard.. So I'm already over my $300 budget because of The windows I need to buy and now I'm over my budget by $100 MORE. so I'm total of $200 over my $300 budget! All I want is to get at least 144FPS on csgo at all times so i can get a 144hz monitor later.. So if i buy a ASUS B150M-A D3 LGA 1151 Intel B150 Micro ATX intel Motherboard will this Motherboard still let me play my Games even though I have DDR3 in it?

Im not going to be doing anymore Upgrades after this all i wanna do is play Counter Strike and get rid of the Bottle Neck thats Preventing me from playing at a solid 144fps for a 144hz monitor

Is that LGA1151 Motherboard Still better than my MSI 970A-g43?

Marginally. It's well worth the extra hondo, I wouldn't bother upgrading if you're not going to install the latest tech.

So if I get the ASUS B150M-A D3 LGA 1151 Intel B150 Micro ATX motherboard and keep the DDR3 ram will i still be getting lots more FPS than what I get now? I really dont care if everythings Old or new I just want to get more FPS for Counter Strike

CSGO is the only game i play
Arya 24/dez./2016 às 18:48
That's a short-sighted approach. It's either $100 more now, or well over $100 more next time you need to upgrade. Spending the extra $100 now will save you a lot more money in a few years time.

Also, get an i5 6500 instead of a 6600K. You should only get a K series Intel if you're going the whole-hog and buying a Z170 motherboard.

How is it $100? A stick of DDR4-2133 8GB RAM is something like $43. Selling his existing RAM will probably net him $10-20 if he has 8gb. So it's only an extra $20 to upgrade to DDR4.

It's not about that; it's about getting a good board; to which there are no more DDR3 stuff.
Even if you do get an LGA-1151 DDR3 board, chances are your old DDR3 is not going to work on it unless it's 1.35V (DDR3L)

DDR4 prices vs DDR3 are roughly the same anyways.

2x4GB is around $40
2x8GB is around 70-80
