Mouse randomly disconnects and freezes the game

I'm having a strange issue lately. Randomly when I game, the game can suddenly freeze for a moment, unfreeze and disconnect my mouse instantly afterwards with that beeping sound that windows makes whenever you plug or unplug a new device. After a few seconds it makes the beeping sound again and everything goes back to normal. So far this happened in MGSV, Killing Floor 2 and Overwatch (most commonly in Overwatch). The mouse I'm using is Rival 300. Any idea on how to fix this?

if the mouse stops working when you wiggle the cable (10cm section from the rubber sleeve \ mouse's base ) cable is damaged, it is necessary to disassemble a mouse, and retreating from the internal connector 4 and 10 ... 15 cm cut the cable, then clean up the insulation, fold the two wires together and wrap with the thread or wire, the individual wires divide and do same to take any cheap soldering iron or a set of 40W +solder + flux (4-15$), weld, trim excess and isolate - all on the next few years this will be enough

It doesn't seem to be a mechanical issue. I already had this problem with this mosue a few months ago, but I honestly don't remember how I fixed it or if it fixed itself. For a good couple of months everything was fine and dandy, now the issue is back.

if it's not mechanical, then it's power management issues - disable energy saving (power off for energy saving) for usb devices in device manager devmgmt.msc

A mouse is an input device and it has to continuously communicate with the motherboard. If the mouse is losing that communication, it's either the mouse or the motherboard. Try the mouse on a different computer and see what happens.
