Smelling a copper like smell,IDK what it is
My father smells a copper like smell from my computer, any idea why and if it's bad.

Well, your computer is full of metal components, so a metallic smell is not out of the norm.

Computers can also amplify smells, which can make it seem like it is originating from the PC... But it is not.

Also, there are a lot of health related issues that are linked to metallic smells and tastes, so you might want to check up on your father.

Thanks man!
Yes it can be normal, especially with a new Power Supply. It should go away over time.

No problem.

Out of the three scenarios I stated, the first one is most likely.

Definite possibility. Power supplies are known to have smells, especially metallic or electric-like.

So everything is fine with the computer then?Because I don't smell anything except for once.
Have you stress tested the system yet?
I would do so while it is new and see if it runs into problems; crashing, rebooting, etc.
If it is fine, then shouldn't be anything to worry about.
Try running a loop via Unigine Heaven for approx 30-60 mins and see how it does.

If you are having no issues from the computer, then I'd see no reason to fret.
Check your system temperatures of your cpu and gpu. Does your computer case have adequate airflow? Is the air coming out of your computer case or back of your power supply hot? Any smell like burning plastic is not normal.

I've noticed a lot of people prefer Heaven benchmark to Valley; what's the reason for that?
Either one is fine really. Valley only runs well on newer or otherwise very high end hardware though; like GTX 970 / GTX 1060 or better.

Heaven can stress just as much; if you use the Extreme Preset.

For example if you are stress-testing a low-end/mid-range Laptop (even an old one with say 2nd Gen i5 + NVIDIA GT/GTX 500M series) Heaven on the Basic Preset is a good stress-tester.

Valley is more for those Enthusiast PCs.
