Dban isnt working?

Ok so im trying to sell two laptops but i need to wipe the drives first, im trying to use dban but everytime i boot it up from usb which i have burned dban onto it lets me use the first menu but when i hit enter it comes up saying csm files not found or something along those lines. Iv even tried using earlier versions of dban but that comes up saying dban failed. Has anyone else had this problem? Also i went into the bios and changed all the setting to what they need to be and i am deffinatly doing everything thing the way im supposed to. Is there a better way of making sure all my info i erased before i pass these laptops on? Both run windows 10 btw.

I had to use a dvd as couldn't get usb to work last week. Also had to burn dvd at the slowest write speed. Normal burn speed wouldnt work.

Damn I don't have a Cd drive.

You can use Parted Magic and create a bootable USB. It boots into a GUI and then you can choose the Secure Erase option.

Just know that you might need to reboot the PC back into it because some drives are locked if you try to secure erase it. On some newer GPU's the GUI doesn't come back due to this being a old version ( new ones cost money ). If that's the case you can use the onboard GPU or maybe an older card.
