Do I have to install Steelseries software to use Rival 100 ?
I'm going to buy either Razer Deathadder Essentials or Steelseries Rival 100

I have Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma headset and Razer Synapse installed.
If Steelseries has a program to run while using the mouse

Would these 2 programs make an effect on the PC's speed/quality

(Note: Steelseries Rival 100 is much more affordable(3 times) for me right now from a certain place)

No Keyboard or Mouse "requires" software; that's always optional.
But if the device has macros or you wish to further config such a device, then yes of course.

I have rival 100 and it's a great mouse, got it for some months now and i still can't get enough of the feel when i hold it and play with it (i had a cheap 5€ wireless mouse before), you don't need a software to use it but you will want to install it if you want to change the color of mouse, change cpi settings etc..

Yes Steelseries uses their own mouse software but I never had any problems with it.
