USD
Probably around $600.
$600? OK and the things you mentioned, is that all I need? Sorry for taking up your time.

Start a new thread, tell people your budget and someone will throw together a partpicker list for you. Also mention if you need a monitor or not.

You would need to find a case, get a copy of Windows 10, get a monitor (atleast 1080P) and finally some storage drives (HDD'S, SSD'S, M.2, etc).
Thanks guys!
Hate to say it OP, but those specs are barely enough to run MineCraft

Build a Desktop; and you don't "require" a paid OS or Monitor; you can install and use Linux or Win10, and use an existing HDTV.

Virtually nothing will run on your current machine.

Old games should run fine(You might try something like the force unleashed and other games 2010ish and below) as well as source games such as protal 2. I use to run portal 2 on my horrible economy class lenovo B575 with an AMD e2 processor(clocked at a freezing 1.4 GHz and only a dual core) with integrated graphics.
I feel a little awkward. I had a cheap Asus tablet that I used at work, and it was nearly as powerful as OP's entire computer.

That'll work fine. It's infinitely better than what you've got now.
My laptop has GT 520MX and I play a lot of games . Just 1280x720 res , no AA , prerendered Frames = 1 GTX 555M is faster
