Should I turn my monitor off or leave it on stand-by when I go to sleep?
I bought a new samsung lcd monitor and when I shutdown my pc the monitor goes automatically to stand-by, so is it good or bad for the monitor?

I turn mine off whenver I shut down my PC.

It goes into standby automatically for energy saving porposes. If you are not using the monitor turn it off.
