I need help with CPU: AMD FX-4100 graphic card

I got on csgo 30fps or lower can I somehow boost my integrated gpu without overclocking ???? or somehow can I boost all pc I tried to boost with properties commands at csgo lowered resolutions ant settings all at low or very low every is disabled ant how can I boost my pc maybe some advice before I buy new pc

The FX 4100 doesn't have a I-GPU.


You probably have onboard video then. They are crap, there is nothing that can be done to improve your performance.

Indeed. It's a onboard GPU.

Add a GPU to the PC (first make sure your PSU is sufficient) if you want better FPS.

Depending on the money situation a new CPU too is of course better than the FX-4100, then again even the FX-4100 is better than what I have and a by now "bad" used graphics card would still beat the build in graphics.

Then again my graphics card (HD 6950) is likely good enough for 100+ FPS.

I found solution I boosted csgo at +10-30fps so now I get from 20 lowest at 25fps lowest average 30-35fps ant highest 60fps

On board/IGP is horrible, csgo really isn't a demanding game and can easily hit 100+ fps on an FX4xxx with a reasonable dedicated GPU.

With my old x4 965BE / R7 265 I get 100+ - 190 fps at high settings 1080p on Dust II map.

on my phenom 9850 I get whatever on inferno, pretty low on Austria and 50 at the back of the container ship bomb map whatever that's called (not the "open" map with basically one level but the other one.)

100+ fPS on average is of little help when the game freeze for 0.3 seconds at encounters and grenade throws sometimes though.

If you're talking about your gear getting freezes it's probably your cpu having such low single threaded ipc, your HD6950 is actually a little below a GTX750ti.

The Phenom 1 is really behind.

Yeah. I know it's the processor.
And I of course don't know how much say 45% faster single core performance make it. It not necessarily cut the break from 0.3s to 0.2s but possibly more than that.

In Quake Champions my average FPS is 37, my 1% low is 17 and my 0.1% low is 5.
An i7 6700K isn't 10 times faster I guess but that may still not have 0.1% low of 50 FPS.

All I can speak for is my performance and not that of the FX-4100. However I know what my machine do and of course having a gaming graphics card even if mid end and older would be better than the integrated graphics OP has.
