Is it normal for a ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q 27" monitor to flicker when you first turn it on ?

A PG279Q is a 1440P monitor. It's still supported even with the changes.

Return it to the retailer and get a new one while you're in your return window. It's a good monitor, but sometimes problems happen.

This is my third monitor.

Where exactly are you sourcing it from? 3 bad monitors in a row of any kind is a statistical anomaly, and I would be concerned whether the retailer is actually giving you a new one or just reboxing the old one. You could also look into the same monitor specs with a different brand. Check out Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz, Viewsonic XG2703-GS, and AOC Agon AG271QG.

I have that one and it's great. Costco sold them last year around x-mas.

That's not normal to get 3 monitors in a row.

Why didn't you upload to youtube??? It would of just stream the video instead of having to download it.

Have you tried a different outlet?

Unstable power can lead to issues like this, and many others.

Im also curious where did you get your 279 from ? and why did you return 2 previous one ?
