Steelseries Arctis 3 - Perfect, except for the fact that I can hear myself

So, I bought the Arctis 3. My only problems in the beginning was that I was being stupid, not knowing that i plugged both of the jacks into headset and not 1 into mic and 1 into headphone slot. So now that I have plugged one into the mic one, I can hear myself when my mic is not working or hear sound in my room when my mics working / unmuted. As a matter of fact, while typing this i can hear my keyboard in real life and from my headphones! Please help!
