how strong is GT 1030?

For new AAA games, especially open world, expect a 30fps at low maybe medium (so console like) for e sport games all reviews seem to suggest around 60 FPS on medium but mostly high settings (this is at 1080p, higher would cripple the card), the reviews Ive seen seem to suggest it is alot better than alot give it credit for around here.

It's a lot better than Vega 8 in most cases. Up to 30% faster.

but I like it though its much faster than mine GT 730 which its look abit better too. About couple months I bought gtx 1050 ti however mine pc need to upgrade and mine motherboard plus my watts too which i dint have enough money to afford all that 😵

attention: on youtube they test the gt 1030. they say doom 4 runs on it. i have been testing: it doesnt really run on it. i played with 50-60 fps. all well. then came a different scene and it dropped to unplayable 10 fps. i had to stop playing. you can play a lot of games though, but for its price it is not good enough. i would recommend the 1050 (ti). imho.

😕 its does very similar to mine too however the game I was playing are most early access so I'm still not quite sure yet but I'll keep my eye on it. 👍

My guess is the people claiming it's a great gaming card have never owned anything better. Even compared to midrange and low-end cards the 1030 is a tragicomic fiasco.

the gt 1030 isnt that bad his performance are about between gtx 750 and 750 ti or radeon 6870 for amd
my backup pc use a gt 1030 and it play any esport game at high fps and even overwatch at 100 fps on low/mid setting and 60-70 on med-high

Yes I clearly fall into that category ... It's not based off of reviews showing it's actually not that bad, it's because I've never seen better........

Its a okayish card if you play only eSports games and only on 1080p or lower. But if you want play anything a bit better, like current AAA titles, it will be not enough.

Honestly I wouldn't buy anything bellow 1050 Ti. Already the 1050 (non-Ti) which is much better as the 1030, will be botllenecked by its 2GB memory.

For e-sport games a gtx 1050 will be good.
But with 1050ti you can't go wrong.
