Does my free hard disk space affect my FPS?
I usually put the game in D disk
But I bought GTAV last night
And after installed
My free hard disk still have 39 GB (full D disk have 399GB)
Does that affect my FPS?

But still, verify the game cache.
Then defrag the HDD

Unless you have painfully low ram, it shouldn't. But considering you only have a 400gb drive, it seems like you do.

Free HDD space has no effect on FPS. But you do want a "buffer" of maybe 20 GB. If you have less than that free, it's time to install a second HDD.

I would also suggest upgrading your RAM for playing GTA-V. A lot of newly released games need 8GB of RAM or more. And that really is going to hurt your performance.

Yea you definitely need 8-16GB RAM for games like GTAV

^^ Absolutely.

So all games use some amount of RAM, and GTA uses a whole lot. If you don't have enough RAM to run a game, your PC has to use your HDD as extra memory. And because HDDs have such a slow data rate, that kills your framerate.

If you want to play games like that, you're going to need more power.
