Is it safe to stop the service ''Remote Access Connection Manager''?
So, i looked in task manager and service host was using a bit of my ram. The drop down menu shows that the service running is Remote Access Conenction Manager. Dont have a VPN or anything that would use this service so is it safe to stop it and free some RAM?
1. I do not use razer Cortex (i did once, got worse performance)
2. I fully closed/stopped ecery task i could to get ram back, didn't get enough
3. (obviously) i dont have Dial-Up internet.

i would not change the windows services in a homecomputer with windows. if it runs fast enough, it is ok. the only trouble is a computer virus. these processes have to be found and killed.
to kill a process is no good. you have enough windows properties. change them, be happy. imho.

Set restore point. RAC is fine to disable you should be allowed to control whatever you wish of the software as the administrator.

That service is fine left running.

considering im OCD to an extent about running processes, even i dont have that disabled
as such i see no reason why you should turn it off.

is it causing a memory leak or something?
