Communications tab should be set to "Do Nothing"
Just change another device to default and then redo the Mic as default (both default options) again, then reboot.
EDIT: What do you mean by both default options? I just click set default on a random one and then set default on my mic again, right?
Ok, I just did everything you said and it didn't work. Also, for some reason, whenever I change a tab in the recording devices thingo. My microphone make a crackle noise. Maybe it's recording sound from my computer and not my mic?
Anyway, I'm gonna go to bed now. It's 9:29 pm for me.
But yea use Sound Recorder perhaps and try them and see which sounds best once the played back.
Just like I said, both default options; Default Device, Default Comms Device
You keep saying u making changes and it not work.
You're doing all this with Steam open; reboot the system when you're done.
