Logitech G230 Headset Mic is not working!
I have no idea why it's not working. I did set my default mic to Line 1 for a bit so I could play music through it, but I set it back! It was working fine a week ago, now it just magically stopped working. Maybe I have the wrong drivers? I have no idea about drivers or anything like that, though. I have a windows 10 gaming computer, but the computer I first used this headset on was an old windows 7 computer. It was working fine before on this computer, though, so I don't see why that would be a problem.

Oh, I nearly forgot, the video:

First off, turn all that enhancement stuff off and the DB boost.
Communications tab should be set to "Do Nothing"
Just change another device to default and then redo the Mic as default (both default options) again, then reboot.

Uh, my microphone is (was) really quiet without that DB boost, but I'll take your word for it. Can I turn it back on after?

EDIT: What do you mean by both default options? I just click set default on a random one and then set default on my mic again, right?

Ok, I just did everything you said and it didn't work. Also, for some reason, whenever I change a tab in the recording devices thingo. My microphone make a crackle noise. Maybe it's recording sound from my computer and not my mic?

Anyway, I'm gonna go to bed now. It's 9:29 pm for me.

+10 DB boost should be ok, above that you will probably just be a noisy distortion.
But yea use Sound Recorder perhaps and try them and see which sounds best once the played back.

Just like I said, both default options; Default Device, Default Comms Device

You keep saying u making changes and it not work.
You're doing all this with Steam open; reboot the system when you're done.

I did reboot it, where do I set Default Comms Device? There's only a "Set Default" button.

Did you try it with a USB Sound card? A USB Sound card gives you such better mic quality and fixed some of the issues I had with my mic.

?? I just plug it into the front of my computer. Is a usb sound card like something I have to buy in real life, or what? Keep in mind, I'm 12 years old, and know nothing about computers and that beyond simple coding and how to play videogames.
