Rosewell 120mm fan screws wont fit case
I bought a set of 120mm rosewell fans and the screws pn my ms-1 thermaltake commander case screw holes are too small for them. No i cant force it in my case and i know that the fans become thteaded with the screws. About to just buy a set that wont screw me over. Also does the ryzen 5 have a plastic film on it?

There is no front fan. Im trying to add two to the front but the acrews are too large for the small holes. The case screws are too small for the large holes in the fans. Quite literally ready to just srll the pc and all the parts. Pc building isnt for me at all.

Yes i had that problem too.
You have to screw the screws that came with the case for the front.

Return the fans?
Try another pair like corsair, thermal and so on?

The 'film' is for protection.

Those come with the case, they are long screws with threads on the opposite holes of the fan.

Doesn't matter what Fans you buy, they have the same holes. You just need the screws supplied with the Case.

Can you link the Fan you purchased?

If you are mounting via 10mm screws that come with a typical Case Fan, take a screw, and slowly pre-thread each hole you will be using on the fan first. This is normal...

Line the screw up evenly with the hole and keep that that why when you thread the hole, so you don't crack the fan frame or having the screw going in at an angle.

Fan Box? huh?

Fans ship with 10mm "fan screws" you can't use those in every single place in every Case. Depends on the Case, if the holes on the case are smaller thread, those screws came with your case.

..Just was wondering, thought u can use the flatheads on every case.
I never had this problem before.

Well.. yes, looks like it rly depends on the case. Eh.

Never head someone ever say "fan box" before is all.
It's just a fan, plain and simple...

Like I said, if your Case uses those holes, many do not use those holes in the front specifically, But again that differs from one case to another. Many case have their front fans mount outside the frame of the case, meaning the case comes with long screws (like a liquid cooler would include) that goes through both sets of fan holes, from the front, and threads behind the fan, on the frame of the case.

Here's an example...

Well i cant use the fan screws on my case. Too fat. Trying to fit plastic through metal is tough. And when i asked about the film its because i already got everything in the pc except my fans and such. When i opened my processor i didnt feel any film at all.

Well the film is mostly on the heatsink.

You mean Paste? That should only be on the Heatsink side when dealing with new parts, if you're referring to pre-applied kind. If neither CPU or Heatsink have paste, apply paste to the CPU, no more then a pea-sized.

On your Case, popoff the front cover and install front case fan(s) using the long screws provided with the Case.

Q. How can i install the Front (Intake): 120 x 120 x 25 mm fan?

A: 1. get the screw with proper diameter and length is more than 30mm. 2. install on the 4 holes of front bezel.
