What is a good external hard drive to put steam games on?

My pc only has a 500 gb ssd and i want to put a lot of steam games on a external hard drive, i need a good one for to too expensive :D any recommendations?

The down side of enclosures and docking stations is heat because of no airflow, some enclosures come with fans but most don't.

The best way of dealing with your problem is taking out one of your smaller slower drives make that into an enclosure and pop a 3TB 7200rpm Toshiba or Seagate m008 in both are under $80 and faster than 1TB drives, you did say this is for a gaming drive iirc.

I will prob get that but are there any normal hard drives? not with docking station.

get rid all 5200-5900 drives, remove dvd - you don't need it everyday, you allways can insert it when really need it
buy new 7200 hdd(s) + buy cdd bay for hdd (if it was sllim dvd)
buy cheap external enclosure(s) for old hdds
profit!

Welp i aint an expert about building and stuff and im not gonna remove stuff :3 i once installed something, but i need an normal external hard drive xD

I do not understand what is so complicated in the assembly and disassembly of the nettop?
it's not a make computer from scratch, drawing tracks on a textolit, etching with acid, soldering microcircuits...
you need only ph1 screw-driver for ~1...2$
