I'll be honest that is different to every other review I've seen of late for them, but I've not tried the latest versions, my k95 is built like a damn tank, as it should be for a nearly £200 keyboard.
Das has the same issue as ducky for me, it's very 'hipster', that's not to say it's a bad thing, but just the way I view it, it's no worse than the premium you'll pay for corsairs branding, well, maybe a bit due to being a far smaller scale operation so costs are higher.

I looked at swapping my k95 for the new k95 platinum but the keycaps font just looks so damn cheap and tacky now, if the quality has also fallen I'm glad I saved my money, perhaps op should look for one of the older models then if newer ones build quality has dropped.

I've actually got 4 Logitech keyboards, 2 are el-cheapo wireless ones for the htpc and work bench with 2 being heavily worn nearly 15 year old original G15's which were amazing keyboards to use even if they were membranes, shame the latest iteration didn't seem as good.

The K95 one is very detailled, i have my K55 membrane and i don't use macros. My first keyboard i found is the K95 but i don't want a basic mechanic keyboard so i like low profiles and i found the Aukey KM-G3 but the RGB effects are cheap-programmed.

So i search around for FPS and programming, i found the aLLreLLi, it's the same. After the KLIM-Cool but it's a Razer-like brand so no.

And finally, the HyperX, i like the red color, the low profile builded are great for mechanical keyboards fans and also, the good looking keycaps.

Again, it's our own opinions.

That looks good for working with the Das Keyboard Pro 4, but i prefer HyperX Alloy FPS or Corsair K95 RGB Platinum, these two brands are good quality. After that i like the Logitech G910 too.

Ironic you say that. I've owned both, the Daskeyboard feels like a premium product and the Corsair felt like plastic crap. That's fully half of why I refunded the Corsair.

Corsair five years ago made amazing keyboards. I had a K60 and absolutely loved it, it's was rugged, heavy, well built and the materials felt premium. It lasted me for years, and then come April I wanted something new. So I bought a K70, and was astonished by how far Corsair had fallen.

Even though the basic design was the same, the level of build quality had dropped from first-class to third-world. The plastics were hard and nasty, the anodized metal plate was warped, crudely painted and hard dangerously sharp edges. The RGB LED lighting never worked properly, and the keyboard made a horrible squeal when the LEDs were on.

After returning the Corsair, I branched out and compared Glorious, Ducky and DasKeyboard. These are the hottest brands right now, the ones that you really want to have. And from them I bought a DasKeyboard Professional 4. And put simply, it's the best keyboard I've ever owned.

It feels like a $200 AUD keyboard should. Extremely well built, with a sense of polish and quality about it. All of the plastics feel nice to the touch, the paint is flawless and everything works perfectly all the time. It's proven an extremely capable gaming board, but it's been equally good for my writing and work.

Corsair, Razer and even Logitech have gotten complacent in recent years. People buy their products because they don't do any research, and don't realise how far ahead the smaller brands have gotten. Don't be a sheep.
