1. Make sure you're using the right cables, which you want to be using Display port, to get the 165hz.
2. Download the latest, or older drivers that you know works well for you, then download Display Driver Uninstaller, which is call DDU, go into safemode on your PC, run DDU, and make sure Nivida is selected, then click on the recommended button, then you're finish, now install your video driver.
Ps. You need to have display port cable all the time.
