Which do you prefer using to optimize your Nvidia rigs and why?

Well CP already comes with your Drivers, its an obvious must that u must make a few changes here, regardless.

Inspector is not for folks who do not understand it, as it stores the settings in registry and can totally over-ride control panel depending on what you change.

I havent had any reason to use Inspector

So +1 for the CP

shouldnt have to be constantly changing settings anyway

Inspectors main use is to get sli working in games that don't properly support it, personally I've found it's not worth the hastle, I know sli isn't a great plan and accept t when it doesn't work and enjoy it when it does :) so control panel for me.

CP because it's easier to use and I found monkeying around with inspector settings didn't always yield good results whereas with CP you get settings that can be edited more easily that often do fix things with games.
