logitech z623 is my sub working or not?

I just bought this from BB and its different then anything I've tried in a while. When I open Realtek audio manager and perform tests, the sub never responds. This is 5.1 with the sub selected. For stuff like youtube vids etc doesn't seem to be responding much. Then I played injustice 2 and it sounded really good with the bass responding at each hit. but even with the bass turned to max im not getting any vibration window rattling etc....does this have to be set up a certain way or is this sub faulty?

Right but my $30 z323 sub was way more boomy and bass heavy. Not saying that is a good thing as I know this is THX certified so it should be balanced.

So I'm guessing RMS the rating is lower...I mean they can't fake an RMS rating lol...maybe my amp is messed up?

If you look at a cheap sony tower speaker sorta thing and it says "High power 2000W!!!!" its obviously fake. I have a high end Yamaha amplifier and it only pushes out 100W a channel and its stupidly loud with my subwoofer and pair of tower speakers. Its really not 200W.
