Is the Palit 1080 game rock good?

Hey, i was just wandering if i could get some personaly thoughts.

It's okay, but Palit tends to be "meh" compared to other brands.

I'd look at Asus, EVGA, or Galax personally.

It's OK as far as a 1080 goes, I'm not sure if it comes with the updated memory or not.

Better go for a Strix, Colorful or Galax HOF.

the major issue with Palit's Pascal series was the grinding sound of the GPU fans...

I got a KFA 2 1080 EXOC and its just incredible, no coil whine, incredible performance and overall a quiet card

It's good, but the HOFs are even better. They come with some of the best VRMs and the white PCB / cooler combo just looks great IMO. Best cards out there if you ask me, but they do come with a good price premium.

Well, you always have to look at the price/performance ratio and in that case my 490€ 1080 is the winner :D

Yeah kind of, we were going around stores looking for a 1080 Ti with dad back when mining went crazy. I found the HOF on some website but at an insane $1200 or so... which led me buy an ACX FTW3.

I sold that card later on and bought a FE 1080 Ti because I had a waterblock for it. If I had the HOF though, I wouldn't have sold it, heh. How it looks right now:
