Logitech g430 headset
About a month ago my Logitech g430 (left "ear") stopped working.

I can only hear things on my right ear.

I've got windows 10, a laptop (I don't think you need specs, but I will tell if you need them).

And I haven't got any logitech software installed.

I am using a 3rd party adapter (Hannah brand).

Adaptor? For what?

First step is to find another device that's compatible and try the headphones on that. Without any adaptor involved. We need to isolate what's actually broken here.

The headphones are broken.

I've tried another pair of headphones and they worked flawlessly.

And the adaptor ; There is 1 pink and 1 green joint at the end of the cable.
So I bought an adaptor to fit these 2 in 1 socket which my laptop has.
So, you're using an adapter like this one[www.amazon.com]? Possible that is whats broken, a quick way may be to simply plug in the audio-out plug (green) to the laptop, should give you L/R in the headset. If this is the case, just use the USB dongle it should have no problems on win10 (what I am using right now, with my Samson SR850s), and I use it on both my desktop and laptops to give a consistent sound.

The G430 headset itself is not most durable so it's possible that is what is broken.

Adapter for what? It comes with USB adapter already, use it.

It didn't.
It should have came with a USB adapter, in this Tom's guide review[www.tomsguide.com] you can see it just scroll down about 1/2 way. It works with the software to give you the Dolby and DTS surround modes. Sounds surprising well, especially at that price range.

So they scammed me.

Can I still get it if I bought the headset 1 year ago?

Who scam you? Also don't think they give you anything after a year. You could order one online, from Amazon.

It's a longshot, but you can try Logitech customer support and see what they say about it.
