and what you call then all the situation where GPu load is about 60-70% while CPU load sits at 100% like many ppl here issue because they think upgrading GPu only would do the trick for ages.
Its better to get a medium powered CPU/GPU then.
It is compatible, but it's not a good fit, if you know what I mean? The 1050Ti will most certainly be a bottleneck You need something beefier, like a 1070 or 1080. Yes, I am Nvidia biased.
An i5-8400 or 8600K would still be an extremely good strong CPU choice.
Either of these easily goes toe to toe with 7600K and 7700K; 8700K is well above anything offered on 7th Gen
