Problem with rams
So hello, I had 4GB DDR3 ram from Goodram, today I bought extra 4GB DDR3 ram also from Goodram but different model (everything is the same, latency, speed etc. but only model is different) and windows recognise 8GB ram (avaible is 4) but when I restart the computer it only recognise 4GB of ram... In msconfig I set maximum ram to 8GB but the problem is same

First model of ram is gr1333d364l9/4g and the second model is w-a2578595

Both fit to my motherboard (P7H55-m lx, it supports max 8GB), tried fitting them separately in both socket keys and both rams works without problem...

So where is the problem, with different models? With Motherboard? Or with configurations or something...

And sorry for my English, hope you understand

In the mobo manual shows tests with dual side modules. So, doubt that it's a problem.

IMHO, in this situation the best option is to remove the software factor by testing memtest86+ or any Linux distro and see if it's able to access the whole memory. Once the OS factor is discarded, we will only have bios and hardware as suspects.

that is why you should buy a matching pair, ones from the mobos qvl .

I'll try to run memtest tomorrow

I tried to buy indentical one that I have but there are no in shops...
So hello again, I downloaded and run Memtest86+ (It was only one scan, don't know if it scanned all the memory sticks or only one) but there were no errors

In the "memory" showed 8Gb? Also, speed, timings and channel width (128 bits in your case) were right?
Are you absolutely sure your Windows is the 64bit version?
I'm sure for 200%, 64Bit Windows 10 Pro, 64x CPU, Support max to 8GB ram, Remap is enabled, Both ram stick are put in (but for some reason in left socket ram doesn't work?), no errors, no mechanical problems, stick are exactly same but one stick is just a different model, I don't know what to do... I always have problem with my PC

Both ram stick are 100% fine, they both work

I'm not saying you're wrong, but it never hurts to quickly double check. You can see how to check your Windows version here[www.digitalcitizen.life] if you're not sure how.

Checked once again, I have everything the same in "System type" like in screenshot there

64-bit Operating System, x64 based processor
It is very possible an issue with the RAM compatibility with the MB. The user manual for your motherboard has a list of QVL (Qualified Vendors List) of DDR3-1333MHz capability. I don't see any GOODRAM models listed on there.

That's not to say that the RAM can't work, but the list just shows known working RAM that has been tested by the manufacturer of your MB.

You can go over the list and see if you're able to track down any of those specific models/types for your board.

On a side note, this next option is kind of a long shot:
1) Be sure in the BIOS it shows 8GB installed, if it does - good.
2) Reseat the CPU. If you have experience in doing this, it might help you out, but no promise it will fix the issue:

Once you've reseated the CPU and RAM sticks and made sure everything is back in place, power the system up. I know, it sounds odd, but people have reported that this has fixed RAM issues like the one you're having.

I'm not saying this will fix it for you, but it is an option to try. If you're not comfortable with reseating the CPU or you've never done it before, then it would be a job best left for someone that has experience that can do it for you.

Ok, definitely is something with the hard or bios. Try updating the bios, if is not up to date yet...

I didn't thinked about checking the manual, my fault...

I didn't found my ram sticks there, sadly

I'm... not that experienced to reseat my CPU and I think don't wanna try because I'll probably damage something

Bios is already up to date, version 0406...

I have no idea why and what is wrong, I still have 12 days to send back this ram stick

*And the thing is, in bios it don't say it's 8GB of ram but in programs like cpu-z etc. it show 8GB

Most probable scenario is that bios reports the memory that can accessed and CPU-Z the total memory read from the spd of the modules (anyway, just a guess). For example, memtest86+ reports both modules with 4Gb each, a bus of 128 bits but a total memory of 4Gb (this last value may be something that the bios reports as accessible).

The most weird thing here is the 128 bits bus. This means a dual channel setup is "working", so both modules should be used... but the total bandwidth to the ram reported by memtest is similar to the one you would get by using one module. Is there any way that you can get two twin memory modules just for testing?

EDIT:

Another weird thing I see is the CAS latency. I think is very low for a DDR3 module. Can you check if both modules has the same timings? If not, it would not hurt to setup the bios with the timings of the slowest module.
