Always properly securely the PCI-e cards.
Put it in the PCI-e slot and push it in to the back PCI-e slot holes to make the screw holes align.
they do align, but if I do that, then the card won't be fully seated. the metal part that goes over the pci cover isn't long enough.
If it doesn't fit make it fit.
I would never leave it sit without the screw if it was graphics card though since those usually have substantial weight and size.
plus ya can use it on any latop or other ssytem you may need to use it on
wifi on a desktop = silly if ya can plug in a simple cable to the existing jack all motherboards have for network
wifi on a desktop? because ethernet is not practical for me. the router is plugged into the main phone socket to the house which is one floor down from where the pc is situated.
