Yes and no.

Don't reinstall Windows to get a better FPS, you might only temporarily gain a few fps.

Having more stuff installed usually will not impact performance. Only services and tasks running in the background do.

You are not magically going to gain 10fps by reinstalling. Don't bother.

The Windows firewall does not affect gaming performance. And also OP might be using a third party firewall.

You can more easily stop the Microsoft Spying with Shutup10. Disabling all the Microsoft spying crap might gain you 1 or 2 frames.

Just uninstall some of your games.. Most of your drive space is pobably used by games.

No, doing some magic stuff with the Windows firewall will not improve fps..

You get less lag cause windows is blocked from dribbling the data packets to microsoft servers. It wont save hd space

It's really not going to make any difference. Unless you are playing on a underclocked, thermal throtting Celeron.

No, what GPU and how much RAM do you have?

Lag and the occasional stutter are normal in most games. Even high-end PCs suffer from it.

That is a nice laptop.

You only have a 250//500gb SSD?

Doesn't your laptop have room for another HDD/SSD or a DVD player you could replace with a storage drive?

128GB SSD for Windows boot up
and 1TB HDD

i put most of my games in my HDD to save space.. and put like Microsoft Word, Adobe Master Collections, and the OS in the SSD..

i prefer fast performance when i work.. i don't care much about loading times in games :/ the problem is i dunno what's eating my disk space.. i already cleaned using CCleaner and saved another 3GB but then 3 days later it became horrible again lol..

Do you have any large games installed on the SDD?

GTA, Battlefield, Battlefront, Call of Duty etc..
