1080ti able to run 3x 144hz 1080p?
Heyo, I'm getting a new pc and saw lot of forums for 3x 4k discussions but not 1080p.

Will a 1080ti be able to run 3x 144hz monitors that are all 1080p? What if I want to upgrade one of them to 4k in the future? Thanks in advance.

Not the exact config, but it will be similar to this: https://www.digitalstorm.com/configurator.asp?id=1765006

As long as you don't expect to run all three at max details 144 fps, it'll work fine.

Yes it will run 3x 144hz monitors, but you will not get anywhere near 144 FPS in modern games. May be 60-70 FPS most. Depending on the games.

Well I won't be running surround for games, but having a mix of 144hz and 60hz is just annoying, so only one would be for gaming and the others would be for discord/Spotify/other apps/etc.

so one 144Hz monitor for gaming and 2 144Hz monitors for discord and Spotify??? You'll never see the difference of a Discord client on 60 HZ or 144Hz monitor.

However if you have the money and really want to spend it just for the looks, go for it playing is no problem and neither displaying the rest as it takes no real GPU resources to display Discord...

all decent Current Gen Graphics cards has support for at least 3-4 monitors, Even a GTX 1060 has support for 4 monitors, same time.

It's not like I need it but I have the monitors already so it's not like I'm spending money to buy new monitors, I just didn't know if it could handle it in general. I'm just not big on surround, thought I may use it a few times for racing sims but nothing big. Thanks for the replies.

Then you should be more than fine.

Yes of course it can handle it. Hookup all 3 via DisplayPort though.

The bigger question is why you intend to play anything at a low res like 1080p, on such a beefy GPU such as 1080 Ti. You'll never get proper usage out of that GPU at such a low res.

I'd rather have higher refresh rate imo, and right now I don't have money for 4k monitors so that's the main reason.

dvi for 144Hz? uhm no... HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.4 for it.

You need to use all DP.
Shouldn't be buying Monitors that don't have this.
This is why most GPUs offer 3x DP

Yeah most higher end GPUs have 3 displayports, usually 1 HDMI for VR nowadays too.

Since when?

Even Gigabyte GTX 1080 8GB AORUS Xtreme Edition only has
1x DVI-D, 1x HDMI, 3x DP
