Best thermal grease

After almost 4 years I would to change the thermal grease of my CNPS7X cooler.
The CPU is a 4771.
Any suggestion? Which thermal grease is the best?

Have a look at Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, Noctua NT-H1. I usually use those 2 they are pretty good and well known.

Thermal Grease is like motor or snake oil, there isn't a massive difference between the best and worst brands, mostly you're buying safer chemicals and a more fashionable badge.

I personally would recommend Noctua NH-T1. I don't know about globally, but here in Aus NH-T1 is particularly good value for money. It's a good paste and you get a lot of volume for your money.

They're all about equal on application, since there are only small differences in actual recipe across different brands. Comparing Noctua and Actic Silver is like comparing your Grandma's chocolate cake recipe with Ina Garten's chocolate cake recipe. They both contain eggs, flour and chocolate - just in slightly different amounts.

Don't overthink Thermal Paste. At the end of the day, it's just the squidgey stuff between your Contact Plates. As long as you've got enough and don't have too much, you should be absolutely fine.

*Having too much won't effect performance, but it will potentially squirt out like cheese from a toasted sandwhich. And it's a ♥♥♥♥♥ to clean up.

They are both okay get which one is available in your region. You may have read the conductanout version of grizzly which is quite different to apply. Kryonaut is easy as other pastes just put a dot in the middle and let the cooler do its job.

NT-H1 is easy to apply, and no "cure time" like some Arctic Paste. Noctua also produce one, and only one NT-H1 which is a universal paste for most applications.

Grizzly Thermal has variety of pastes for variety of applications. They cater to every single scenario including LN2 overclocking or delidding etc. Make sure you buy the correct paste.

I won't OC since I have a B85 MB, the max frequency will be 3.9 GHZ.
So I'll consider the NOCTUA NT-H1.
