Ok and whats the problem?
28*C is quite a warm room temp.
You want the PC is a cold room for best bet of keeping it cooler.
LOL you don't want it running hot.
IDLE doesn't matter anyways, what *C does it hit under full loads...

Are u sure? cuz whenever i touch my case, it's super cold and I searched up what's the temp for idle cpu should be, and it said it shouldnt be below 30 degrees celcious.....

Doesn't matter what IDLE is. You're not outside in the cold.
You said it's 28*C inside, yea that's warm.
Could be freezing in-doors, it wont matter.
No, there is nothing about no 30*C, what we have said is that with many CPUs, the Temp you are seeing is not accurate below 30*C... that's quite a different thing.

I live in Elgin west of Chicago. Ambient (room) temperatures of the UPS/FedEx shipping PC in our warehouse would ranged from about 50 degrees F nights/weekends in winter to as much as 100 degrees F in summer (no A/C in warehouse). It was usually running 24/7 (sometimes shut down for weekends). We did have onboard graphics go out on an earlier Dell Optiplex while still under warranty, but no problems for years with warranty replacement motherboard, other than having to replace CPU fan many years later. The Dell Optiplex that replaced that when WinXP became obsolete had no issues at all. And like I said, those were usually running 24/7 (or at least 105 hours/week if shut down weekends).

Unfortunately the company closed our regional office and warehouse Nov 2015, so I learned investing and am earning about the same income investing my IRA money without collecting Social Security yet. So my day job is now occasionally checking the markets 8:30 AM to 3 PM Central Time on busness days.

It is not like 40 or 50 years ago when mainframe computers had to be carefully temperature controlled or cooled. Think about the electronics in your dad's car (engine computer, etc.).

Relax. CPUs are damaged by extremely high temps, but even absurdly low temperatures are just fine. The lowest I've seen a CPU survive is -170 celcius in a bath of Liquid Nitrogen. Not only was the CPU undamaged, in the extremely cold environment it could be overclock to 7.0 GHz without failing.

From someone using a 1600X (Same CPU, just factory OC'd), you're fine.

Mine idles around 27-30c with no issues. You should only worry if it goes above 80-90c under load.

I know, right? Here I am in Australia, it's early Springs and already 38 degrees outside. Come summer I'll have 40+ most days, peaks of nearly 50.

Idle?

24 Celcius idle with 50-55 under gaming load. 65-70 under Prime95.

> i7 6700K @ 4.6 GHz.
> Phanteks PH-TC12DX(catchy!) dual-fan tower heatsink
> Cooler-Master Mastercase M5 with triple front and dual top fans.
