번역 관련 문제 보고
I had to go to Realtek's web site, download and install their latest drivers, which were also like 6 months (or more) newer than the ones in my motherboard's web site.
That fixed it for me.
So, if you have integrated sound from Realtek (most motherboards come with it) try Realtek's latest drivers from their website. If you have done so, please disregard this.

Im not entirely sure but I do not think I have that installed to manage my audio. Would searching files and foulders for Realtek turn something up like a control center application? I do not find anything when searching for it. But if its a different my asus p8p67 pro motherboard can use Realtek integrated audio, and if installing it and using it instead could fix this problem I would be willing to try.
Im about to try to instal the audio driver from the ASUS site because it occurs to me after thinking about your realtek suggestion that I was using my Windows 10 to check for drivers and it may have been looking for different drivers than the ones I was needing. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67_PRO/HelpDesk_Download/
" REALTEK HM_TUF V6.0.1.7848 " its a realtek driver on that page.
I go to the AMD website for my video drivers when I look for updates, but I never really bothered going to the source for my audio drivers.
This is what your motherboard has:
Realtek's drivers add a configuration utility to the system tray.
However, you are also using an AMD card and it's HD Audio through HDMI.
In a laptop with an AMD APU and Realtek's integrated audio that showed a similar issue like yours, I had to fully uninstall both Realtek's and AMD's drivers (using DDU to uninstall AMD's) and then reainstall everything with the latest Crymson Drivers from AMD and the latest Audio drivers from Realtek's web site, and not from the laptop's manufacturer website.
Yes. That's the one for your sound.
However, that's almost a year old.
If that driver doesn't fix your issue, I suggest you try the latest ones from Realtek's web site like I did.

Because my Benq is plugged via hdmi to my AMD card, the Benq playback device is linked to the AMD driver and I dont know how to change that. But I can unplug my speakers from my monitor, and plug it into the motherboard which is now controlled by Realtek. When I do so the Realtek application opens up to manage the speakers and adjust levels. But unfortunately my games still dont show up in the audio mixer. I am now going to your link to look for newer drivers.
To this point I've had AMD Settings, and AMD Gaming Evolved as the applications that were associated with my card. But Ill try Crimson when I do the reinstall for my AMD drivers
But the problem persists. Still no audio. Still not in volume mixer. I have set up my speakers back to my monitor, and plugged headphones into the motherboard. Now when I go to playback devices I can listen in and switch between the two of them as I test. And I can confirm that other applications such as chrome and other games still play audio and appear in the volume mixer on both the motherboards audio device which is controlled by Realtek drivers, and the monitor playback device controlled by amd. They both are capable of playing sound but both still behave the same way with the same select games.
Shows AMD HD Audio Device, and Realtek HD Audio
Have you clicked on the little speaker on the right lower corner of your desktop, next to the clock and calendar, and selected the HDMI audio?
Did you right click on said speaker, selected playback devices, and then set your HDMI audio as default?
Also, do they say ready, disabled or something else?
I have one playback device for my BenQ monitor controlled by AMD, which worked for everything before this problem started. I have tried also setting this one manually to dont use this device when I want to test the devices I believe are part of the motherboard.
Those devices are 'Speakers' which is now controlled by Realtek but which I think used to be controlled by amd. (I can see which port on my motherboard is linked to this device).
Then I have Realtek digital output, and Realtek digital outpoot (optical) (which I am certain used to be called AMD digital) I can see which ports on my motherboard are linked to those.
I think the BenQ device, and the Speakers device are really the only two that matter. But the problems persist even when all devices but one of those are enabled.
- Have you gone through ALL the tabs for both "Configure" and "Properties" under Playback Devices? Particularly 'Enhancements" and 'Advanced' (paying particular attention to Exclusive Mode settings)
- What about the test tones? Can you hear them?
-Have you checked 'Disabled Devices' for something that maybe you need access to that was inadvertently turned off? (sounds like you've already done this, I think)
As a last resort, you might want to give Ear Trumpet a shot (https://github.com/File-New-Project/EarTrumpet/releases). I personally know a few people whose sanity it saved after Windows 10 completely mangled the volume mixer on some of the earlier update releases.
Also, the games in question--the ones with no sound--I take it you're running them full screen?
Thanks for offering the ideas and suggestions. All help is appreciated!
I can hear the test chimes. I can get audio to play from many applications and games and get system sounds. Only some select applications fail.
I have tried manually turning all enhancements off. But I dont have any active anyway even when I dont check the box to turn them off.
I have read that exclusive mode turned on is the way to be so I have made sure that was on when I tested my devices. But I also tested the devices with exclusive mode off.
I believe that the only two devices that really matter if they are enabled are the two devices I speficied in my last post. And really I can get audio to play for most things just fine when only one of them is enabled so I dont think I have accidentally turned off something I shouldnt have.
fullscreen by default. But I tried setting them to boot in windowed. tried windowed manually from in game. Tried boarderless.
And running the games in windowed or windowed/borderless didn't change anything, eh?
