Will this mobo fit in my case?
I've had this pc for a couple years now. I started off by buying the regular pc and adding a gtx 750 ti and another ram stick. Then I added a q9650. Theres really no good processor for this socket type so im looking to buy a new motherboard and processor. I was wandering how to tell if a mobo will fit in your case or if anybody could tell me if it will fit.

This is the stock pc I got and since then has parts swapped out: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883282042

This is the motherboard im looking to buy:https://www.amazon.com/ROG-STRIX-H270F-GAMING-Motherboard/dp/B01N1PND67/ref=cm_wl_huc_item

Any help is appreciated

What CPU will you be getting? I assume a i5 7600k or i7 7700k?

It's probably best if you just get a new case. This case is over 10 years old, you could run it to issues with missing components (like screws, mobo standoffs) and those cases have terrible airflow.

Get a decent and somewhat affordable case like a Corsair 100r, 200r or NZXT S340.
It's hard to say exactly without knowing the type of MB you have right now. You could try CPUZ program, there is a tab called Mainboard (if memory serves me right), it should hopefully tell you the model of the motherboard.

If you can get the model of your motherboard, we could help you answer your question better if still require help.

Found the specs; http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/specs-hewlett-packard-3647h/

Its a normal ATX. I still wouldn't use this old case. You are already spending a small fortune on a motherboard so if money is an "issue" get a cheaper motherboard and CPU so you can afford a new case.

The only reason im using it is because its the only one I have. Im going to upgrade my case soon but its the least of my worries right now. What im going for is peformance but not overkill. The reason im also buying this motherboard is because it comes in a boundle with the processor I want and has 4 ram slots. What im kind of doing with my pc is buying more and more new parts for it and eventually im going to just take the parts back out and put them all in a new case and put the old computers original parts back in and have it for a backup.

It won't be much of a problem so long as the motherboard you buy is the same form factor the case was designed for.
Just get a new case, pre-built office case is unlikely to have good airflow especially for a GPU that is non blower type.
