If u have your windows update turned off turn it back on and let it download when the windows pop up asks u need .net, and let it download and turn it back off after installing.

Press the Windows key and type: turn windows features on.

If .NET Framework 3.5 is unchecked, check it. You might need to reboot after it installs.

IT doesn't work. MS or my ISP is POS

bummer - you can also try going to your *\SteamApps\common\Batman Arkham City GOTY\Setup directory and remove everything, then re-try the install

i think if DOtnet is getting installed at your end but not mine then it is an ISP issue. I didn't hv this problem with my old isp...

Your ISP is not the problem. Try the DISM repair I mentioned previously.

Okay running windows update diagonistics now

it fixed some errors yet there is no progress, the issue persists.

I reinstalled windows , yet the problem persists. Definitely ISP has lousy connectivity to Windows update servers.

Bad_motha told me that already. I reinstalled Windows and yet the dotnetfx is not getting installed, hence i think ISP is to blame. My OLD ISP was better @ connectivity but 5-40 times slower.

Not sure why folks are linking those installers, again you can't use those in Win10

Here's an alternate method to get them into your Win10
https://www.ghacks.net/2017/06/12/run-net-framework-2-0-3-0-and-3-5-on-windows-10
^ Scroll down to where it says "Installing the .Net Framework 3.5 manually"
^ You'll need a Windows 10 media that's as new as the Win10 OS you are running. So if you don't have one made up, or you're is older than May 2017, wipe your flash drive and re-make it using the Microsoft Win10 media creation tool.

Now if you need to update your .NET Framework 4.xx later on
Yes, download the 4.7 and install that. That one does work for Win10

Did you ensure to launch Command Prompt as Admin?
Otherwise it will not work.

Easier way to launch that is press Winkey+X and then click Command Prompt (Admin)

Look at what your Win10 USB Flash Drive letter is from "This PC" if you're not sure.
As you'll have to use that Driver Letter when doing the command
