I really miss my pc ;(
But it's too late now anyway :s
Gaming Notebooks ain't bad nowadays.
That PSU is ''80+Nothing'', it is the Lowest quality in Corsair...
Should have bought at least ''80+Bronze'' PSU.......
For the future, spent a bit more on a psu, that's the most important part in your rig :3
Feel free to comeback here for suggestions if u wanna bild a rig in the future.
Laptops comes with built in UPS, So They are immune to most types of Short circuit, sudden power outage, voltage up-down, over voltage, thunderstorms, etc.
Where does that BS info come from?
Laptops are all made very cheap; no they can't detect or stand up to such things. No more then your average Desktop PSU can, which are very sensitive to such things.
The only upside Laptop has in any regard as this, is if power is lost, it has the internal battery to fall back on.
If you're not using a UPS, you have nothing between you electronics and the outside power; period.
are you sure about this....??
Laptops are not Pre built PC from ibuypower/Cyberpower etc. Gaming Laptops are a Thousand Dollar equipment from Leading brands like ASUS, MSI etc. And comes with 3 years warrnaty. Because people can't change Laptops parts normally, they usually comes with high quality parts from factory, Not low quality.
I have used 4 laptops, never seen any cheap quality parts inside them. Don't confuse Pre-Builds with Good Brand Laptops.
They have no protections. They can fry just as easily as anything; your phone, Desktop PSU; etc.
Why do you think there's a new exploding Phone/Tablet/Laptop every year?
