Nvidia Control Panel

Hi, I'm not sure on how to fix my problem;

The Nvidia Control panel has disappeared from the options when I right click on the desktop, and when I search for the Nvidia Control Panel in the windows control panel, it's there but crashes when I open it. I'm not sure if it's related either, but since this happened I've been unable to run intensive games like PUBG and it's been giving me video memory errors.

Nvidia Control Panel version is 8.1.970.0
Windows 10 version 1703.

Anything I can do to get it working again?

Reinstalling is probably the best option.

Reinstalled the 385.41 driver and now the Control Panels working, but now in GeForce Experience the features tab in settings doesn't load in and it doesn't allow me to install updates.

Gonnna try going back to the 385.28 driver, it all started after I installed the 385.41 update.

NVIDIA is now somehow on the same path like Microsoft, that means that you have to install all of their spy and trash software in order to use any/a part of the APPs included in the package...

The control panel isn't working and will crash if you don't install "Experience " or disable the service called "nvidia display container ls" ***


*** except of the two needed APPs and services feel free to disable / stop from autorun any other services and nvidia tasks without worries... and none of their APPs needs internet access if you care about your privacy ...

Do a clean install of the installed driver you can select that from the menu or Display Driver Uninstaller Download version

If you uncheck Experience and other options you don't want during installation of Nvidia software, it's possible to avoid those items.

not anymore.... I've never before installed "Experience" and other ****** until the yet - that's because of the issue the TC described....

My PC isn't detecting my GPU at all after trying to reinstall all of the drivers using DDU

Tried reinstalling the driver I need for my 960 but Windows won't install them.

Idk what to do.

open up the device manager, select the display adapter there right click on it and select uninstall if it asks you to delete any software or drivers that came with, agree and continue.... restart your pc, once back in windows, go ahead and install the latest drivers ... that's not BIG or "... Bigger problem;;; ...." at all dontya agree??

I just did it to confirm. Works fine. You have to select custom installation.

then you're luckier than I'm did you also restarted afterwards?

Uninstalling the display driver from device manager and reinstalling drivers I think has worked. The driver installer has atleast started installing without saying I have no hardware
