Waste of a Windows Pin Code and Bootcamp Won't Allow Me To Boot Into A Partition.
I am worried that I have just wasted a large amount of money on a windows subscription that will never be used. I had followed the steps correctly ( I think) and then it said that I couldn't boot into the bootcamp partition. Because you have to enter the product key first before booting into the one of the four partitions, I did so thinking the next steps would be as predicted and showed on the tutorial I had been watching. In fact none of the partitions were working/allowing me to boot into them. Does this mean that I need to clear up room on my mac as well? But I'm pretty sure that the process of using the product key should have been cancelled because I could not continue and evidently had to abort the process of selecting the bootcamp partition, the installation I'm guessing would activate the product key. Please Help!

You can install windows 10 with out a key

Microsoft has done an interesting thing with Windows 10. Besides giving it as a free upgrade to anyone with an activated Windows 7 or Windows 8 PC the OS is also one big shareware demo.

Specifically, by the demo I mean near fully functional OS that you can install anywhere to try out. This ability means you can download the Windows 10 ISO right from Microsoft and install it on a home-built PC, or any PC for that matter. Even Mac users can do this and install the OS using Bootcamp (more on this later). https://www.windowscentral.com/you-do-not-need-activate-windows-10
perhaps an imgur link fo the error message?

i don't own any apple product but installation errors on windows are down to:
1. admin rights
2. not enough empty space on target drive
3. drive is in use by another program.

i think it is either #2, or #3 in your case.

Yeah I knew about the trial but I wasn't sure if you were able to use the product key afterwards so I did it anyway because thats why I bought it in the first place.

Sure you can; Win10 requires no key, period.
