Which RAM slots to use

I have Gigabyte H170-Gaming 3 mobo. I bough same stick of RAM (Hyper X Fury 8GB) and to use dual channel, which slots to use (Both red, both black or Red and black)?

The red ones. On almost all mobos you first need to use slots 2 and 4.

in the second link above, it say reds are 1 & 2

(I didn't notice the second link was Z170 but it is basically the same mobo)

Red ARE 1 & 2; thats why you use those.
But looking at the board, they are physically 2 & 4
