Saitek P880 Joystick, need help!
I purchased this controller(without the disc) but did not realize that it needed a disc to install the software needed in order to program the controller for games such as Borderlands 2 and Dark souls, etc.
I've been searching around for half an hour now and can't find any working links to download the software.
Any suggestions, besides consulting Saitek(logitech)?

I hope you've learned a lesson from this. Be careful what you buy off the internet.

Actually finding the disc will be next to impossible. It's an older product now, and Saitek has since been bought out by Logitech. Logitech are known for great customer support, but you'd be very lucky to find a disc for that. It would have to be new-old-stock, and Logitech would have had to buy that NoS when they bought Saitek. Which they're unlikely to have done.

Logitech bought Saitek about two years ago. Good thing IMO - Saitek's designs with Logitech's build quality and support sounds like a match made in heaven.

I paid like $7 so didn't lose much :P.

Is it possible there is any alternate way to program the controller?

Thanks for the help

You need the original software. You can't simply "type up" an alternative - we're not in the '80s anymore.

Just download the software; whats the issue here? Don't see any issues here...
It's that simple... never use discs anyways, they're too outdated.

Drivers: http://ftp:/ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/p880/

SST software (to program it): http://ftp:/ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/
Pick one of the SST1?1???_??.exe

Weird, I was on those at time of posting.

Edit: steam is breaking them by adding a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ http to them, copy/paste:
ftp:/ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/p880/
and
ftp:/ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/

and you should get there.

Gone since Logitech scrapped the old Saitek site.
