Should I upgrade my gtx 760
Currently running it with an i5 3750k stock, 8 gigs ram, and a 700 corsair PSU

Games that I currently play are all valve steam games, and GTA5.

For the 5 years I've had this system, I never thought the gtx 760 slowed down at all, and it's handled all my games at max resolution and settings and the entire system with a SSD still feel very capable.

But then again it's been like 5 years since I upgraded anything on This current rig.

What do you guys think? Keep the 760 til it burns or upgrade? Price is not really a concen, rather, it's more important for me to buy something that'll improve from the 760 performance

Could upgrade to a GTX 1080 6GB
It's up to you.

If your games run bad upgrade.
If your games run fine leave the systems as is.
Another 8GB RAM and GTX 1060 6GB or better for GPU couldn't hurt.
Surely would do much better in Gaming.

CPU should still be fine. You could maybe get better CPU Cooling and OC that CPU.
I'm still running a 3570k with 8GB of RAM, but I'm also running a GTX970. I would think about upgrading the video card.
750ti and an i3 4160 for 2,5 years here.

If there is no need for you to upgrade - why bother?

I will probably upgrade in the upcoming summer.

You seem to have answered your own question but if you feel the need to upgrade for the hell of it and your monitor is 1080p the GTX1060 6GB/Rx 580 8GB or the higher GTX1070 would be cards to look at.

Relevance to old hardware your GTX760 is below the GTX960 and the GTX1060/ Rx 580 competes with the GTX980.
Yea if you intend to stick with 1080p for a long while longer; 1070 or higher might not do a whole heck of alot for your; unless maybe you're going the VR route. As GTX 1060 is basically entry level for VR. But for 1080p on single screen type of gaming, GPUs like 1070 or higher tend to have more raw power then you can really utilize at that res via single display setup, in non-VR scenarios.

But yea, below GTX 780 3GB is pretty much rubbish for GTAV, cranked up...

Your CPU has got juice in it, go ahead and treat yourself to a GTX 1060 6gb i'd say..... there'd be no bottleneck and ull enjoy games at 1080p very high settings 60fps, better to upgrade your gpu now than to later have to upgrade ur CPU and GPU entirely, the more u delay the more chances of ur current CPU bottlenecking the GPU of future.
get a gtx 1050ti it good and get same performance as a gtx 1060 6gb
