Can intel HD graphics 630 run at 144hz?

I just built my new pc and i don't have a graphics card yet, but i have a 144hz monitor and a dual link DVI to connect to motherboard. I just updated the drivers but i still dont see an option for 144hz in the display settings. Thanks in advance for the help

Your games won't run at 144fps unless you're playing TF2/CSGO or some other ultra-low spec Esports titles, but nothing's stopping you.

Yeah I know, but anything above 60fps would still be a benefit with the monitor. I'm just not sure how to get it to run at 144hz.

Depends on the monitor, sometes you have to use HDMI or Display port for 144Hz.

It really depends on monitor, it's possible for dual link DVI to run 144hz on 1080p monitor but those are usually older monitors. Some only have HDMI no display port, read your manual.

It has vga, dvi-d and hdmi, i know dvi-d and hdmi can both support 144hz @ 1080p depending on the version of them.

I'd just advise getting a HDMI cable, they come on the cheap anyway, and there'll be plenty of uses for them later. I wouldn't count on Intel HD running any game that's not at least over half a decade ago (sans casual games/some indies) @ 144fps though.

Would it appear in the intel hd graphics control panel? Right now it only shows 59hz and 60hz

HDMI can not use 144Hz, with the proper cable it can go up to 120Hz.
For 144Hz displays you should use a Dual Link DVI-D or better a DisplayPort connection.

HDMI can do 1080p 144Hz or even 1440p 144Hz.

Dual Link DVI goes up to 1440p 120Hz.

Display Port is supposed to go up to 4K 144Hz AND also the next version of HDMI.

No. You can set any video mode, limited only by max pixel rate, on any graphics. Including IGP.

When i set it to the lowest reso, 800 x 600, it can only go up to 75hz, is it because of the dual link dvi cable i'm using?

I'm using the i5 7500 using the kaby lake iGPU hd 630, and a dual link DVI cable hooked up to the Acer gn246hl, after digging around on the LTT forums I found out you would need a display port cable for the iGPU to drive 1440p or 1080p at 144hz.
