Is it possible to overclock a monitor with a hdmi cable?
Im currently have a 1080p 60Hz Samsung monitor and i managed to overclock it to 83Hz somehow however people say hdmi only supports 60Hz. How can this be?

Yes you can get 83hz but have you done the UFO test to see if you actually are getting 83hz? If not you need to do that because you are probably getting frame skipping.

^This.

Also this can shorten your monitor lifespan by overclocking it.
