Asus motherborad fan
Hello I would like to know that sort of fan goes on this model -ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero Z270 LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard- for the i7-7700k processor (without water cooler if possible) Thanks!

Any LGA-1151 compatible cooler will do.

Noctua is the absolute best air-cooling brand, so if you want the best go with them.

Then you don't need it.

Just slap a Cryorig H7 or Hyper 212x and be done with it.

I suggested Noctua because that motherboard is usually meant for "extreme" setups, and I assumed you wanted something "extreme"

actually no one cares for microliters in fans work in his pc, because its not about the fan. its about the cooling body on a cpu, because these things kill the power loss (watts) in heat it is. the hot air is not the problem. so any small fan will do, too.
