How long will a GTX 1050 4GB hold up?
Please, I don't want people that tell me, that minimum for today gaming at ultra is GTX 1060, I know otherwise from experience

I want the answer in years, just to clarify

EDIT Its 4100 MB, not 5 gb

There isn't a GTX 1050 5GB. It's a GTX 1050 2GB

13 years depending on how much you enjoy low settings. the GTX 1050ti is the bare minimum because 2GB of VRAM is not enough for modern AAA gaming.

To make things short, only the mobile gtx 1050 has 4gb.
So are you playing on a notebook?

If u don't care about max. settings or so. It will last few years, coz of the 4gb and the kaby i5.
But one thing, the i5k isn't a mobile cpu.

What u could do is, upgrading the ram.

What notebook do u have?

So according to acer:
i5-7300hq
Gtx 1050 4gd5
8GB ddr4-2400 single channel (1 free slot)
15,6" FHD IPS blah
128gb + 1tb hdd.

*and upgrade well.. it's a notebook, so u can only upgrade ram and storage.
But the upgrade is easy as 1,2,3.
Here is a good guide with pics for the vx15
